Kelly Milbourn, CNM, WHNP, MSN
Kelly Milbourn is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Kelly knew her calling was to be with laboring women after seeing the care her sister received from a midwife when her nephew was born. Even when complications arose, the midwife was still by her side.
She holds two Bachelor degrees: one from University of Miami in Nursing and also from Whittier College in Chemistry. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Fullerton.
Kelly worked as a labor and delivery nurse in the hospital for years before becoming a Nurse-Midwife. During this time she helped hundreds of women have a more natural and empowering birth in the hospital setting.
Although her degrees help to show her dedication to evidenced-based practice and the profession of midwifery, she has learned the most from being there for the many women and families as they bring new life into the world. She is very happy to be a part of such a wonderful team here at The Natural Birth Center that shares her faith and trust in the strength and wisdom of the birthing mother.
When Kelly is not working, she uses her season pass to Disneyland to its fullest potential. She can be found laughing away her days off at the park, singing karaoke, or rock climbing.
