HYPNOBIRTHING & BIRTH EDUCATION:
To start we believe being educated and knowledgeable of the birth process is one of the best methods for pain management. We have seen the best results from moms that practice hypnobirthing during labor & delivery, so we highly recommend this method to eliminate anxieties and fears associated with the birth process. However, hypnobirthing and birthing classes are NOT a requirement and you are free to take any child birth class that works for you.

HYDROTHERAPY:
We believe in the power of warm water. For that reason, we have a large tubs in all of our birth suites that you may labor in and out of. Warm water does wonders during intense labor surges and may help alleviate the sensations of labor.

BREATHING TECHNIQUES:
Our midwives are experts in breathing techniques that can be used to alter your pain & anxiety levels, as well as help you become more relaxed.

LABOR MOVEMENTS:
NBC&WW midwives are specialist when it comes to positions and techniques to ease pain and increase comfort. Our midwives know different movements, positions, birth stool/ball use, rebozo use, and many other methods to help you have the best and most effective natural birth experience. One of the best coping mechanisms during labor is to get moving.

TENS UNIT:
TENS is a drug-free kind of pain relief often used by women in early labor. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation.

What are the advantages of TENS?

• You can keep moving around while using it.
• It won’t directly interfere with your labor.
• You can use it for as long as you want to and take it off if you want or need to.
• There are no lasting side-effects.
• It’s safe for you and your baby.
• It can be used for a home birth.
• It’s portable and non-invasive.

Yes! We do perform homebirths in a variety of areas. If you’re interested in a homebirth please give us a call to see if your location is covered.

YES! We do accept Vaginal Birth’s After Cesarean only if you have had 1 C-Section previously.

We accept Venmo and Zelle for methods of payments.

Prices vary depending on your wants and needs. We here at NBC&WW believe the type of care and the uniquely personalized experience you’ll receive at NBC&WW is worth investing in for your family.

We do offer affordable and flexible payment plans, because we want to help you make your dreams of having a Natural Birth Experience come true!

All fees must be paid in full by 36 weeks gestation.

Home Sweet Home
The Home Sweet Home Care Package includes all of your prenatal care at NBC&WW, birth at home (birth pool not included), one 24-72 hour post partum visit at home (not included) 1-2 week post partum & 4-6 visits including visits at the office.

Births at home can take place anywhere in your home as long as it’s safe, including your own bed and tub. If you’d like a birth pool there are many services that provide rentals or pools to buy; it is up to you to find what option is best for you.

Home Sweet Home PLUS +
The Home Sweet Home PLUS Care Package includes all of your prenatal care at home, birth at home (birth pool not included), all postnatal care at home.

We understand some parents prefer private visits, have complex schedules, or would like additional services so we offer the following services a la carte for an additional fee:

We accept all PPO Insurances. However; we are considered out off network. Many insurance companies cover CNM (certified nurse midwife) care and Accredited birth centers. YES! Here at Natural Home Births and Women’s Wellness, we believe that every woman has the innate wisdom, power, and sensibility to birth her baby naturally. Our midwives and birth team trust in your strengths and wisdom as a woman and soon to be mother to create your own transformational dream birth. Although countless births have occurred since the beginning of time, every birth is unique. We believe that that these first precious moments can be achieved naturally, with minimal or no interference, safely, and naturally.

Our care is rooted in believing in the powers of the female body and avoiding the culture of birth fear. This foundation allows your birth to be achieved as nature intended: naturally and joyously.

In the event something during your prenatal care, labor & delivery, or postpartum care deviates from the norm, our midwives are well prepared and educated in handling these deviations.

In the case that an abnormality is out of our scope of practice, we have collaborations with several specialist that will work with us to treat the problem.

No problem. NBC&WW is fully equipped with materials and equipment needed for tear repairs and our midwives will provide the necessary care needed to ensure your well-being.

Of course! We listen to your baby’s heart intermittently with a Doppler at various times depending on your stage of labor.
