Elizabeth Aguirre, CNM

Elizabeth Aguirre is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) accredited by the American Midwifery Credentialing Board. Liz, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, received her Bachelors degree from the University of Akron and earned her Masters degree from Frontier Nursing University.

Before becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife Liz worked as a high-risk Labor and Delivery Nurse for over 10 years, attending the births of hundreds of babies. Working in this high-risk environment she was able to witness how collaborative relationships between physicians and midwives, coupled with evidence based practice, led to the best outcomes for women. As a midwife, Liz is passionate about caring for women throughout the lifespan, and especially enjoys caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

When she is not working, Liz enjoys spending time with her three children, reading and baking.
